1. Who is the yearbook for?

The Caius Yearbook 2011 is for anyone who matriculated at Caius in 2008 (including people currently on years abroad and those not graduating this year) or who has joined that year group since (including exchange students). We will endeavour to personally contact people who did not matriculate in 2008 to make sure you know the yearbook is also for you.

2. When will the yearbook be delivered?

We will hand yearbooks out during May Week (TBC) to everyone who ordered a copy. If you’re abroad, your copy will remain in the Bursary until you collect it.

3. What’s the deadline for entries? Can I change my entry after submitting it?

We are willing to accept revisions up until the first day of Easter Term’s rental period. This is to suit societies etc that have dinners at the end of term, and for people whose entries do not meet our standards (see rules question).

We cannot change the allocated size of the entry.

6. What if I change my mind after ordering a copy and now want to order more/fewer copies/cancel my order?

Please contact us directly; this may or may not be possible depending on the stage we are at in the production process.

7. Will the yearbook be printed in colour? Hardback?

Yes and yes!

8. Will I get to see it before I order?

Unfortunately not, due to the nature of the printing and billing process. Trust us that it will look great ;-)!

9. Who is printing the yearbook?

A guy called Andy

10. Do trips get an entry?

Photos of any extracurricular trips involving several members of the year can be included in the photo montages - send us the photos!

We suggest any subject trips be included in the subject pages.

If you have any queries about trips pages, contact Jenny on jab236.

11. I’m not a big fan of nights-out and spend my free time with a small group of close friends. How can I be sure this yearbook will be as much about me as about people who do go out a lot?

The Yearbook Team has a priority of representing every aspect of the year. If you’re still worried about this, though, feel free to contact any of us.

12. Is the college subsidising the yearbook?

Last year the Development Office subsidised each copy by £1. We hope this arrangement continues.

13. I’m on a year abroad. Am I included? How?

If you’re having any problems with submitting/putting together an entry, get in touch with us.

14. Will there be pages for us to write messages to each other?

Yes!

15. Are there any rules on entries?

If you’re doing an entry for the yearbook we want you to have as much freedom as possible.

However, low-resolution pictures can severely undermine the overall feel of the yearbook. We will therefore not accept any entries with photos of resolution below 300dpi. In particular, this rules-out the use of images from Facebook – please use the original image files instead.

Also, keep it clean please!

16. How will drama be featured in the yearbook? Can a production I was in be featured?
