Making a Great Yearbook Page
If you're stuck for ideas, you’re on the right page! The Individuals section of the Yearbook is 100% dedicated to YOU. You can do anything you like on your page – make it your own, as this will be what people look back on in decades to come! Here are a few tips for when are making your page:
DO...put your name on the page.
Make it obvious (large font helps!) and legible against the background.
DO...use text.
You can write whatever you want: quotes, memories, in-jokes, thank you's, goodbyes (but please don’t make it offensive...!) Take a look here for a good example of how to present your text.
DO...use pictures.
Put just one in, or many – but try not to use pictures that you want to submit to our photo-montage pages. Check out here to see how photos can be used to sum up your time at Caius.
DO...use your space.
Blank space is good, but only if intentional! Don't only use half of the template if you want it to fill the full A5 slot.
DO...ask for help.
The yearbook team are here to answer any questions you have (caiusyearbook2011@gmail.com), and we will also be running some Yearbook Masterclasses later on in term.
And whatever you do: DON’T leave your page to the last minute!
If need some more inspiration, here are some templates to get started and here are a few good entries from last year's Yearbook..
Look forward to seeing all your pages!
